Reviving the thread!

Selling my Lebaron here:'88 Lebaron Convertible Turbo - $850
And buying Pat's back here: LeBaron thread. POST PICS!!!

If I can't sell it, I may need to eBay it or scrap it. Somebody give it a good home. Basically needs body work and stuff relating to the bottom of the car (lines, etc).

ok heres mine- 88 coupe, TI 5 speed, factory sunroof, rear seat audio, 2 button traveler. i litterally dug this out of one of my neighbor's fields last fall. his son had been driving it to school till 5 th gear went out. car has been sitting for 5 years before i bought it. needed more than a transmission when i dug into it!
new gas tank fule pump sender assy. all rubber fuel lines
mice tore up the engine compartment pretty good- all the vacuum lines were gone, and all the wiring to the TPS AIS was gone- lil bastards even ate the connectors, pins and all! after repairing about 40 wires, new fuel system and vacuum lines it fired right up and ran! sweet. but it didnt end there
new trans- went from 520 to a 523, TIII clutch, K-frame had 9 cracks in it- the sway bar was flapping in the wind, replaced with a dual pivot from an 89 daytona, new inner tie rod ends, 4 new tires, and an alignment and now this week its finally on the road. the car is 100% rust free and pretty straight other than some dings. runs great even with 220K miles on it. this is kind of an odd color combo i have yet to see another brown lebaron, and the brown/light tan would look great if the interior wasnt so sun faded. the seats are in excellent shape, this was his wifes car originally and she weighed 90 pounds wet , and his son only weighed about 120 so the foam and fabric are in perfect shape other than sun fade. they bought this car back in 89, original owner traded it for a jeep cherokee, so its been right down the street its whole life. the paint is a lil faded on top but i plan on repainting it next summer after i get my hybrid shadow running......

theres another one sitting at a used car lot in town, maroon, in much better shape than mine- the pics make it look better than it really is. pretty sure its TI auto, exterior is much nicer than mine. if youre serious i can go take a closer look get a price and send some pics if you want. i doubt they want more than 2 grand for it, its sitting in the back part of the lot.

Wow, that's a very nice find for having sat in a field for five years. I know what you mean about the tan interior. Mine looks identical, faded and all. The car looks great. It's an odd color combo, like you said. Plus you have the moon roof and the turbo moldings. That's probably a pretty rare LeBaron. Can't wait to see what you end up doing with it.

well i originally bought the car with the intention of turning it into a sound quality car- i was a professional installer for over 10 years, till about a month and a half ago when i got out of the industry. cost of gas hit me with a double whammy-not only did my cost to drive back and forth to work double over a 6 month period, but that caused buisness to drop off dramatically- not good when you work on commission ! the car audio industry will ever come back. it was fun while it lasted, now im trying to find another career that doesnt revolve around cars. sucks too, i was gonna get silly on this car- true 5.1 surround sound with a 15 inch screen flushed into the center of the dash. oh well, as least i can still have fun with it and have a decent daily driver. its gonna get repainted, not sure if i'm gonna stay with the brown, was kinda leaning towards gold , all black or black and gold interior , and have the wheels polished.

Hi people @ TurboDodge

I came across this website looking for a picture of a LeBaron steering wheel. Looks like nice forums

Before I post some pics of my LeBaron in the Netherlands (I love American cars! Have always driven American rides) I would like to ask if anyone here may eventually have spare white front turn signal lights? I see lots of them on pictures posted here and I can't find scrap LeBarons here in The Netherlands.

My Golden LeBaron was sold in the Netherlands, therefore it has/had some European mods, which I am undoing one by one since I have it. Also, I'm trying to repair/restore the total car to a mint state. I really love my car, you Americans know how to make sweet rides!

The bumper before it was repaired (that pic was taken @ the car dealer's)

I beleive '94&'95 'Barons have the turn signal lenses you are looking for.

If you are undogin the Euro mods on the car, I can almost tell you with 100% certainty that you can sell them to other TD fans and make a bit of money. Just beware of shipping costs over the pond....
