Thanks for the tip I guess I can even sell it with more profit in the Netherlands (euro/dollar rate) after the work that is already done on it. But I only got this one last february and am not planning to sell it yet. Multiple people have already asked me if my car is for sale GTC's are very rare in Europe.

I looked at several websites but couldn't find any that shipped that particular lenses. I was hoping maybe someone here had a spare pair. But I'll try do do some extra searching at the web then. There's no real way to search specific turn signal lenses though, because the type names are the same.

T2 is turbo 2.
Turbo 2 motors had a bigger turbo (garret) were factory intercooled, had a 2 piece intake (upto 89 when they switched to the one piece) had a factory intercooler, usually were hooked upto a 5 speed (masi not included) and had a more agressive computer that let you boost upto 12 psi stock!

No, unfortunately not. It is slow as hell. But I don't care much about speed, to be honest. I had a V6 before this car and I always had to push the gas pedal really lightly because otherwise fast acceleration after fast acceleration would make me sick

I like looks and comfort more than speed. But a turbo equipped engine would make more sense in such a car, I agree on that. 0-60mph in 15s is not done in 2008

It is a GTC version however, the most luxury trim I believe at it's time. That's where the 16" rims come from. I was really lucky to find a GTC version here in the Netherlands, I think the total production was 1500 GTC's or so. So I chose looks over performance. The engine runs well though and it seems like a race car if I drive next to a Prius driver.

Well, let me help you. Give these sites I order from a try. The part numbers you're looking for are 5262299 and 5262298.

Dodge Parts Online

You just need to enter in that part number in the search and you can order them. I'm sure that shipping will be expensive though. If you have trouble I could order them and send them to you.

The mirrors are different, the rear center light is different, they used a chrome grill instead of monochrome, and I'm sure there were lighting differences. Also, the GTC never came N/A over here with the 2.5L or the 2.2L just the 3.0L six cylinder.

The Euro mods were law requirements to export the cars to dealers in the European Union. I don't like them though. Here are some examples of the mods:



Tail lights: the European version looks cheap. I like the dark-red American version alot more with the color of the car. Actually it's illegal to install red turn signals on a car that wasn't sold in and imported from the US, but I don't care. No policeman will stop me for having American tail lights on my American car.


Side markers lights were not allowed in the Netherlands at the time this car was sold. Now they are so I can add them back. There are black pieces of plastic in the side strips instead of the orange and red reflectors. Quite easy to replace.


The mirrors on European cars are pretty dull and ugly. Replaced them with the much more streamlined American version, which is heated as well!

No I didn't.
If there is one place where there are nice houses, it is America! I think this house very nice too but I still dream of a wooden classic American villa with two or three American cars in front of it

Thanks, that would be great! I found the lenses in the last shop but they don't ship outside the US. I would be very greatful if you could help me by sending them to me. Just send me a pm and I can send you all the money (shipping and buying costs) in advance via PayPal or so.

A part of the center bar on my car is missing. I sawed it out to fit in the license plate. I think it looks pretty well though.

I'm not convinced it's a GTC, it looks like an 88 Premium with GTC wheels and decklid.

I take that back, it is an 89 judging by the chrome and body colored door handles, but I still don't think it's a GTC.

the GTC modle had nothing but a turbo in it...
So I think its got the decklid and wheels of a GTC but there is no body colored grill, no turbo motor, (that means no boost gauge either), and its got no badging as a GTC.
So I reserve judgement till more facts are given
