The ZF pumps came both ways. I think most of the screw in type fittings were used in 88, and the banjo was used from 89-early 90 when the ZF was phased out. Both lines will work you just need the banjo bolt and the fitting that screws into the pump if you want to swap it over. There is only one style of the ZF pump, unlike the saginaw where it has two different pressure pumps for the standard ratio or the quick ratio rack. These were issues I ran into with 87-88, and 89 parts that I used on my 89 GTC vert when I swapped in an 87 TII engine. PM me your email address if you need anymore help.

Thanks,

Ben Huebner

Thanks for the help Ben. and i will be sending you a p.m. my car is an early 89, built in late 88. so that would explain the screw in fittings.

I'm still looking for clear front turn signal lenses, if anyone could sell/send me a set, I would be very greatful!

TurboBlue, that's a real cool LeBaron! I've never seen a leBaron tuned like that Normally I don't like the tuning of cars, but you kept it really clean with some neat details I love it how you painted the rims, very subtle

Where did you get the clear side marker lights from? I would love to have that kind on my LeBaron as well!

@ Mike: wow that one's in a good shape! Great find, was it from an old women?

Update for my LeBaron: a truck drove into it... Big ouch... I had the car parked alongside the street to look something up on my phone when a truck made a bad corner and crushed the back left side of my car. But I'll get it back from my insurance company.

The car's getting a new engine! A 2.2 turbo from a coupe, completely rebuilt. Furthermore, I'm replacing and repairing every bit of the car that's not in a good shape. I've already repaired lots of stuff that was damaged, worn or missing when I bought the car. I've got a whole list of it but it's written in Dutch.

The new engine, needs some cleaning

Fixing/cleaning/etc. my LeBaron, with the donor car in the background

You should take the wheels from the donor car and put it on your convertible. You won't be disappointed.

Why do you think I should? I like the appearance of the 16" wheels, with their complex star patterns and their painted in the car body color.

Yeah, the car is getting a new exhaust with the new engine! I don't have a picture of it yet though. It's got a rectangular end piece to match the LeBaron's edgy shapes.

Lowering the car may get me in trouble at speed bumps. When there are 4 people in the car (yes, sometimes there are), it scrapes over the bump with the exhaust pipe >.<

^^I agree..I wouldn't swap out fo the 15" wheels at all! The 16" lace wheels are much more pleasing to the eye on that car, not to mention IIRC, slightly lighter than the 15's!!(I weighed all the TD wheels I could get a hold of YEARS ago...dunno what happened to my list though )

Cause those cathedral wheels are really cool. If you don't want them you could always sell them to me

I'm afraid that would cost a hell lot of money. Especially because shipping costs here are calculated in euros and those doors are very heavy. All parts are now piled up though, so I'm not sure if it's still in a good condition. The coupe was almost perfect before they ripped out everything.

Anyway, I guess it would be cheaper if you find one in the US. There must be one somewhere I'm sure on a yard.

Thanks, I'm not big on tuner cars myself. In this case, Chrysler had already designed one of the best looking cars in existence, I just had to fine tune the details to suit me.

I made the side marker lenses out of Dodge Caravan front turn signal lenses.
