Rubix,

What is the year cast into the rear of your new engine block? It almost looks like one of the Mopar replacement blocks that have stronger main webbing for the crankshaft.

Wow you're a genius! The problem is that here (in the Netherlands) there are very few American cars on the scrapyards. The chance that I can find useful parts is very small, also because front turn signal lenses of American cars sold here are mostly amber. I will try to look on eBay for Caravan turn signal lenses.

By the way, how did you get the old ones out of their sockets, by lifting them with a screwdriver?

@ 83sdc:
Well, driving 500 miles in a Baron wouldn't be such a punishment would it

@ topdollar69:
It's a late '89. For what they told me, it's got some improvements in comparison to the older blocks indeed, but not a stronger crankshaft I believe, I thought that was only for the T2 and T3?

Yea, a screwdriver works fine, a dremel tool helps.

Why do you need it? A dent, rust? Anyway, my previous LeBaron was a coupe. Currently it's completely being renovated by someone I believe.

I would be really glad to give you the door of the donor coupe as it will be crushed otherwise but it's simply not done to ship it to the US.

Ya that would be a little bit expensive.
I will keep an eye out on craigslist for a cheap parts car that I can talk my dad into parting out

83sdc, unfortunately, I am even more than 500 miles from you. I am scrapping an 89 coupe and both doors and the trunk lid are in very good condition.

well that would also depend on how much you want for it! everything i have found is in salvage yards. so i have the cost of the door plus shipping. so, depending on what you want for it as to wheather or not it would be worth shipping it! so unless Q, i mean
" turbo kid " gets dad to buy a coupe to part, i pretty much will have to pay to get one shipped. you say your car is an 89?

My car is getting repaired. New turbocharged engine (rebuilt) and the dent was taken out. Still a lot of work to do though!
