No, all the 94 phantoms had analog dash, but the same car (8 valves only) in previous years was digital.

Does one of them have a 4-speed tranny? I know you guys got the A604 backing the 2.2/2.5 down there, and we did not. Just interesting trivial stuff...

And I always loved how the digital dashes look in the newer G/J interior. It's SO sweet!!

It's not as easy as the older cars. Do some research on it here on the forums before jumping the gun. There is a TON of info about it. I know for a fact because I was part of a lot of the threads...

I just noticed something else: of course the digital dash car wouldn't have it, but the anologe car doesn't have a boost gage in the tach like I would have thought it would. That's strange...??

wow good eye. i didn't see that. yet the daytona does. maybe cause the daytona is more performance based, and the lebaron is more designed to be cool??? i don't know. There's my wild stab in the dark though.

And i figured it would be similar to doing the old generation digi swap. As usual i guess i'm wrong.

The 16V Phantom's got a boost gage.

As for the dash swap, it would require the propper dash, BCM, possibly harness, and all the associated sensors...not all the new style digi dashes are the same...

yeah, that 4 speed tranny was avaliable, but not all of them had it, most of them use the 3 speed transm.

I have seen the digi dash in phantoms like mine (analog '94) it's almost plug and play, and a friend swaped the older lebaron digital dash to his spirit 16v, the only change was the conector and a couple of dremel cuts.

spirits and phantoms 8 valves hadn't boost gauge, only the 16v, and older phantoms and gts used the square gauge in the dash.

don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but how are you guys restoring the black trim that goes around these cars? Is there a place to buy it new, or did you take it off an refurbish it?

There are a couple ways to do it. Dulicolour makes a trim paint that makes it look like new. Or you can use a rub on compound there are a bunch of them.
