Yeah, she doesn't look that bad. A little TLC and lots of elbow grease, clean that Baron right up. At least it's a corporate 2.2 and not the bastard child 2.6. Should make the swap a little easier.

How is there a thread on LeBarons that's well over 80 pages long... and I haven't posted yet?

I love that Baron and that hood is the best one I've seen on a Baron! Were you or a son on a-body.net, I think someone posted it there too?

Nope. I guess someone liked or hated my using GM hood vents? lol

Now this would be a good place to post...

I am looking for a rust free '87 coupe body. Any trim level is fine.
Don't care if it runs or if a raccoon had it's way with the interior. Just has to roll so a carrier can pick it up.

Hmm, I thought it was a neighbor or friend or someone with a cutlass or century. Weird.

Post a thread in the Parts Wanted or Cars Wanted section, you'd have better chances in there for someone running across it.

And here's a very bad pic of my first taillight mod.

A second version was made, but didn't get to the car. I'm already thinking up version 3.

I hope my swap goes pretty easy with few-none holdups.
But the body work is going to take a long time. i have to replace all the window wells and might have to replace the hood(if possible to find replacement) and roof is going to need a fresh peice of sheetmetal.
and then all the sanding an priming to get ready for paint.
Bluebaron i love ur car i read the website great job

A 93 Lebaron could be had with 10 or 11 inch rotors. ABS was an option in 93, but not standard.

The car sat in a barn for almost 8 years waiting for me to finish repairs and the custom drivetrain stuff. It's now sitting in my shop.... doing the same waiting. lol
