Pretty much. It's a 1" crankcase vent. I modified the cap interior with a reed valve so the engine can't suck air in ... just let's it out.

I had mine unfiltered for a couple days. it's filtered now. It makes a slushy chirping sound from time to time. I guess that's how i know it's workin. but it's sealed up tight. I need to give it an oil change soon. Royal purple FTW

Dang it Jackson, you have to save me some T-III parts. Your garage is like a black hole of T-III stuff. You can't be giving your stuff away to Phil!

I gutted the interior of the car, pressure sprayed the carpet, pulled the seat fabric off of the seats, threw them in the wash machine. The interior, other than the head liner, was very sharp. Front lip of the hood was bent--not really salvageable, the passsenger side had a good long dent in it, of course you can see the ground FX broken up by the fender. There was some rotting cancer behind the ground effects aft of the rear wheel wells, but otherwise it was a very good bodied car. Excellent floor pans, no rust anywhere else, etc. The engine just had a few too many issues for me to be able to deal with at the time. Clutch felt glazed, wheel alignment was horrible, the head was cracked, the headwas losing coolant from somewhere other than the valley. The transmission would go from 5th straight to reverse (probably very simple fix.)

Yeah me too. But that head looked pretty f***ed.

Did you sell it or junk it? It would have made a good project for anybody with the money to do so.

Where were you two years ago? I couldn't get rid of it. I sold it for $1700 to a not-very-active turbododge member from St. Louis area. Without a LOT of work, it could have been made a really nice car again. I may try contacting him to buy it back... hmmm Lots of interest in the car, and a few people saying "done deal" and they're coming to get it. Of course, they'd never show up or return phone calls.

I remember all the times you listed that car. I wanted it so bad. Everytime you posted it for sale or just kept bumping it, I thought I still had a chance.
Too bad I didn't have any money at the time or any space. I know the price was right. Didn't that guy drive it home when he bought it?
