Nice car naj! That's almost exactly what I'm working on right now in my garage.

A 1990 Shelby vnt. Mine has black leather interior, I can't tell what yours is, but otherwise they look like twins.

Thanks. The interior is Bordeaux Red w/cloth seats.
I scanned the pic so the color and contrast are off a bit.

^^^ My '90 Daytona is Claret Red Pearl Metallic with the Bordaux interior...I LOVE it!! Too bad it will probably never be like that again...I'm fairly certain the next time it even rolls it will be completely gutted being prepped to have a lot of body and frame work done including a nice custom cage....

I think I've mentioned it before, but my '90 is the same color combo as yours but it's a T1 with auto. I was never a fan of white cars until I got this one. White on a 2.5 gen Daytona looks really sharp, especially with the matching pumpers. I need to fix some paint on mine too though. I have some nasty peel on the hatch and some starting on the roof. It also looks like my front ground effects were repainted before I bought it and they screwed up the paint. It's brittle and falling off, like they used regular paint instead of bumper paint.

Thats how my paint started peeling, on the hatch, right where the top of the hatch and the roof line come together then moved to the roof and hood, then to the top of the fenders, on the doors around the window and the top of the rear quarter panels just under the wing section of the spoiler. The front and rear fascia, ground effects and lower portions of the fenders, quarter panels and doors are holding up, so far.
Apparently mixing the flex additive with the paint is a pain. When we need to replace a fascia/bumper on a Jeep the body shop(outside shop) wants to paint it on the car so they do not have to add the flex additive.
