Got a tint job the other day! Looky, it even sparkles . Still need a paint job though. I'm thinking I'm going to just do it myself. I've been to 3 body shops and they all have looked at it and told me they don't do completes. . WtF!? Then what do you do? .

Here are some of my '86. Bought the car new in '86 as a daily driver but shortly afterwards I talked the wife into letting me put it in the garage. Well 22 years later its still all stock with just 6900 miles or so.

Have I told you people I think I love you? I agree, I haven't seen enough Daytona pictures! This is the first Dodge I have owned and I'm in love. It has issues coming out my ears, my friends have tried to convince me to sell it, but I'm having no part of it! Mine is the plain Jane 2.5 ltr. I've been looking at Turbo's at my local wrecking yards and thinking of picking one up, they are only $20 to pull one out and take it home. To bad I'm not experienced in cars yet. I didn't even really know what a turbo was until I got here! I also am hoping to buy a 90 Daytona Shelby. Here is a link to a couple of pictures I posted when I first signed up here. http://www.turbododge.com/forums/f1/...ing-dodge.html I will try to ad a few more now that I have been working on it. It is my daily driver so its been fun, driving around while trying to fix it. You'll see what I mean when you see the next few photos. I've decided when I can I am going to keep the camo color and put a mat finish on it.

Beautiful!!! I'm second owner of mine, but the guy I bought mine off of didn't keep it in a garage. It was a field. . I didn't think one existed with less than 15k on it in an 86'. Unbelievable!

Thanks, I recently turned 55 which means I have been showing my vehicles for about 27 years. When I first stared the cars that I most admired at shows were the original survivor vehicle. Restored vehicles when done right take it to a whole new level, way beyond factory original. I remember seeing some pics in this thread (can't remember their name) of someones Daytona where the undercarrage has a much nicer paint job than my entire car. I can not wait to see his car finished, it will probably be the finest G body on the planet. Truth be told if I had the know how and the cash it would be awesome to take a car to that point but, I will never be in that position.

"Absolutely perfect". Hardly, it has a few small dings most of which I have caused over the last 20 plus years and the front air dam has a little curb rash. Overall I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 10 but I am not exactly unbiased though. Next time I get it out I will take some shots of the interior and undercarrage.
