Some updated pics of my Daytona:

Some interior/ engine shots:

And some with the new rims (the ones in the previous pics are from my Omni, that's why they look a little small):

Here's a picture of my Shelby just a few months after I got her.
This was taken in the summer of '05.
I believe the other picture was taken in the early months of '05, perhaps sometime in March.

I figure I should through my new toy on here. I got it a few weeks ago and still working on it to get it up and running. Getting the parts isn't the problem, it is getting the money right now. But here she is:

For a relatively complete 89 Daytona ES T-Top car, I think I got a VERY good deal for what I paid for it. The interior has only 1 or 2 problems other then that, it is in mint condition.

Yah, I just about bought an 85 Daytona Turbo Z CS T-top that needed quite a bit of work. But it was either that or this car. Still need to see a few of your 1st gen cars. I am not as upset that I got rid of the 'page to get this car.

Very nice looking car man! What year and transmission is it?

I'm going to guess a '91 with auto...

Hi,

You're right about the '91, but the it's definately a five speed. It's also rear defrost delete with/wiper from the factory which I'm told is somewhat of a rarity.

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm loving this thread, so I thought I'd post my own Daytona pictures.

Here are a couple shots of my 1986 Daytona Turbo Z C/S.

I've been thinking about putting different rims on it. I'm getting tired of these. They really show the brake dust on them and they are extremely hard to clean.
