Wow, I can honestly say that's the first Daytona I've ever seen with hydraulics!

Yeah, you gotta love those ultra base model cars that didn't even have floor pans. I hear they were optional on the L bodies too.

Here is my newly aquired 86 daytona cs auto. I got it for 700 only needing a water pump. It has 80k miles, t-tops, leather, and is all stock. I plan to convert it to t2, 3 inch exhaust etc.

Trailer hitch has been cut off

Yeah, who would like to donate me one?

The Shelby covers in a slightly different guise were available from 85/86 when Lotus/Shelby were first doing the heads for racing, not seen one in the flesh except at Lotus, they only have one and its on their display TIII engine (the only TD thing left at the complex i don't jointly own... except their display NA 2.5 16v )

Picture for those that have not seen them.. so where are these VCs all hanging out?

Wow, I kinda wondering how many of those valve covers are still around. I know Jackson has the ones that look just about like the stock TIII covers but those are rare as well.

Interesting intake box on the Lotus display engine there...I suppose that was before they decided to do the "snorkle".

I just have one of the pre-production covers. I have a friend that has 6 of them and there is another guy on here that has 3 or 4. I would guess there was about 25 of the Shelby 16V power by Dodge covers ever cast....
