yeahhh the colors are quite strange...it was originally red, as seen in the back. I have no idea what would possess someone to paint a car like that... and it obviously can't even be blamed on the '80's!! Yep it's got a factory sunroof, optional ninjas, rear window wiper. it's a really nice car despite the goofy paint!

How in the hell did you get this guage cluster in there? They're like... not the right shapes or anything but you obviously got it to fit!

Good eye! I didn't even notice it was an older style digi dash. I figured it was a later model from a LeBaron (which would be an impressive thing in itself).

Hahaha, I actually have the extremely rare 90+ Lebaron digital dash, but I haven't tried testing it out since production date sticker says 1991 and I need 92+ to work in my 92 Daytona, but who knows, maybe it has the 92 electronics.
The funny thing with the older style dash, is that the display actually matches the hemispherical shape of the dash better
And here's how I made it! With only minimal levels of scotch tape and paper mache lol. I still have to tint the screen and relocate the buttons.
87 digital dash

Unbelieveable! I doubted you for every second of every day in getting that thing to even light up in there! Not to forget my doubts that it was even possible to get it mounted in there at least SOMEWHAT close. Getting the square peg into the round hole should be possible with a lot of time and custom fab skills though. Good idea on the limo tint thing.
Little handy work of a friend of mine. All into a '91 Daytona with 1992 electronics. This guy spent a LOT of time getting this to work, and in the process of it learned of the change in electronics for the 1992 model year. No wonder it wouldn't work!
And, note the adjustable suspension buttons in these pictures:
Proof that even some kind of prototype DID exist. After studying the ECS suspension on my Stealth, it is far from impossible to implement the same basic thing into a K-based Chrysler. After all, Mazda did it with the Ford Probe.

try paintscratch.com i got an aerosol can mixed for my spirit from there. it's kinda pricey i guess, but you can't really beat it. i didn't have to do anything except specify what i wanted from my computer, and get it shipped to my house! that's what i like... simplification!
