Chrysler Laser thread!! POST PICS!!!

Yeah, from what I gather XE is the luxery version with all the niceties and such. The XT was more fo the "sports" version. They usually got the wagon wheels, anolog dash, 5-speed...ect...basically the TurboZ version of the Laser.

Then again turbomini just posed his and it is labled an XE, but has all the things I jsut said would be on an XT...so I dunno..??

In 86 the XE and XT had the same ground effects on them, plus they both got wagon wheels so visual they looked the same. The XT package was just like the C/S handleing package on the 86 Turbo Z. You got the 50 series tires vs 60's and the bigger sway bars and it deleted the digitial dash.

Thats nice to know. BoostedShelbyZ I have 2 front splash guards. Dont have any Idea if they are DC or not but I was looking at my 85 xe parts car and it had 2 front ones and they say laser on them. Kinda cool.

The XT package was an XE (-) the digi dash, voice command options and in place got a boost gauge and standard alert gauge thing. Plus what ^^^ said

I will take more pics of the beat to hell 85. As for the splash guards they are yours. Tomorrow I'll get them and take some good detailed pictures. They look to be in very good condition.

hey guys can u tell me if an 84 chrysler laser 2.2 will fit in my 87 dodge daytona shelby z?? Thanks get back.

yes but you will have to swap distributor, fuel rail, all sensors from the 87, all accessories etc. I am sure I am missing a few things but maybe somebody else will chime in aswell

you'll have to change the flywheel and clucth over to the older style becuse it'll be 6 bolt crank instead of 8 bolt like your 87 is....plus it wont be as strong....and what ^ said.


and turbokid that guy is messing me around on paying me so i told himif he doesnt pay me by next week i'm selling the car to a guy who is junking it(thats you) lol well he told me that he'll have my money next week.....when he gets paid...and he wants me to fix the breaks..for free..... not going to happen... but i'll get a pic of the int. and front end of that laser
