I only have tiny bits of rust beginning on a couple of my tm's here in the midwest.

Wow, that car's interior looks EXACTLY like my mom's '84 she had when I was a really little kid! That was a great car! Too bad it has probably met the great garage in the sky by now....

Sweet pic. The lighting and the effects look great. I had one of the first 85 !/2 XT's built as a demo. It was a 5 speed car with sunroof and every option except cruise and leather. It was wonderful. I sold it to my sister in laws little sister. She loved it until a drunk went wide turning a corner and sideswiped it. After the repairs she said it did not drive the same, so she traded it in when she was living in another city.

I wouldn't mind having another XT sunroof car. I always bumped my head on the t-top door frame, so if anyone has one.... I don't mind a salvage title either if the body and repairs are good

Bought a new laser and I am finishing up paperwork tonight!

86 xt 5 speed sunroof car.
Cloth interior, factory louvers, good looking little car. Buying it CHEAP!
Supposedly runs. I am going to tow it to my house (a secret night operation might be whats going to happen) and see if I can get it running.
If it is a good little runner and I can drive it daily then I will keep it for a while.

That is the exact one I am looking for. It is like the 85 I had for a demo...

The paperwork shows over 1,500 in receipts for repairs in the last year ALONE!
No rust, still has the sunroof bag in the back, and has no body damage other then scrapes and scratches!

Nope this car is a couple blocks from my house.
Has title, keys, work receipts and everything!
Its in awesome condition!

I got new pics!
This car is pretty bare bones. manual seats, manual windows, manual locks, 5 speed cloth, and sunroof.
It still has the spare, tire tools, NO RUST (just a spot on the floor that is beginning to rust on the bottom), hatch cover, sunroof bag, and all that fun stuff
Has a garret t1 sitting in the floor of it!
Body has a lil fade here and couple dents there but over all is pretty damn good.
I will keep what I paid for it to myself but it wasn't expensive.

Great find! As I stated in a previous post, that missing piece of fender trim can be ordered from a Chrysler dealer. At least it was a couple yrs ago when I got it for a T-top leather 5-spd mate to your car that I let get away from me when I had cancer. Have the dealer parts person do a locate on it for you. If I remember correctly it was only $24.00
