oh i thought you owned one of the silver r/ts.

that guy is lucky, i have a buddy that hit a 4ft wide oak tree with a 73 ford fairmont at 75mph and had to have a 1/2 million dollars worth of plastic surgery done to his face and barely lived, he has titanium plates in his skull and cheek

I don't, my brother does. He has a nice silver '92. I'll get it from him eventually though.

Yeah we'll have to do that. Dont think I can bring my TBI though. It needs new floor pans and rockers, bad. I drive it everyday, so finding time to do that is tough. I'm leaving for the Navy in May. That should gimme the cash to get the R/T back together. Maybe when I come home on leave I'll see you at the track.

Wow Pat, I'm glad the guy lived, but it's too bad another R/T bit the dust. OUCH!!! I never saw such a mangled up Spirit in my life. After I skidded into a guard rail at 55mph with my TBI, I was shocked to find no structural damage done. Kinda made me feel it was indestructible. I broke the rack and dented the drivers side panels, but that was it. In contrast, my mom backed into the passenger side at 5mph in the driveway and screwed up the B-pillar. That car's taken alot of hits and it shows it. Good luck with getting that silver R/T!!!

I don't know what all is on that harness. Sorry for the long reply!
In case you didn't get an answer yet: You may already have the traveler plug taped up under the dash behind the center vents. I've seen (and owned) a number of AAs without the traveler but with the connector. Allpar has instructions on how to wire a traveler without the harness, in case you don't have it.

thanks guys. I already have the traveler, but to my knowledge not the wiring. I looked in the dash for it, but didn't see it. I'm looking to swap in an R/T harness so i have the fog light wiring too. Wasp, I believe said he had one, but was looking for it, but I haven't heard back.

I swapped a dash harness from a Spirit LE with fog lights and traveler into my Spirit. The message center works fine but the traveler displays F1-1. The fog light switch lights up too, but I tested the fog light connectors by the bumper and they have no voltage. So IDK, maybe I'll wire the traveler data wires directly to the ECU.

Interesting, i hope not to go through all that work, and have problems. How hard/time consuming was it to swap the dash harness??

It was easy, plug and play once I had the dash out. I think my traveler F1-1 problem is probably related to my Duster 3.0/5-speed ECU.

My dad has a 1995 Spirit, 2.5 with the gold package. I has approximately 30,000 kms on it (18,000 miles). It's white in color. I'll try to get pics this weekend.
