Neighbor is repainting his Grand National pure black, so we're borrowing his brothers paint booth. Never done it before, but I like the fact I'll have done it myself.

Puke yellow interior is now replaced with a nearly perfect red out of an 88 Horizon I bought for 150.
I would love to be able to find a rare gold GLH that nice for resto. One of the rarest of the GLHs. Granted as nasty as the condition of the paint is a gold GLH restored is a good looking car in gold. There was a near mint gold one here in Spokane, but disappeared. I'm hoping to find a carb model to build next, kids are going to be able to autocross soon

I don't know. I bought the car with the tint on. I don't like tint myself, but it sure looks nice from the outside. I prefer to be able to see as clearly as possible from the inside. My eyes need all the help they can get now days.

I like the 2-tone! It looks like your wheels are a whole lot cleaner than mine.

I'm afraid I must change from gold to black. One of the first cars that really impressed me as a kid was a black and red GLHt I almost bought. Besides, can't have a red interior with gold outside. I do like the blue too.

dirtyglhturbo - I must have your wheels.

yea, the wheels are sic. i just bought them on ebay. they are polished, and cleared. they two-tone is a result of being ass ended at 25 mph. we actually bought the car back from allstate, and found a nos 1/4 panel and rear lamp panel. my brother got rear ended when the trans seized up 6 yrs ago. so we did a fresh engine and trans as well as they bodywork to save it from the crusher. ;)

Great job on saving 'er! My wheels look like I have a dog with acidic urine. The suede headliner & leather armrest are nice, though! And, I'll bet no one else has a DOGE.
