Official L-Body Thread(Post Pics)

I have the instructions for it, it's a Direct Connection model actually for g-bodies and they say you will need to cut the hood and the kit came with a hood scoop. I'm pretty sure it wil sit off-center in a Daytona/ Laser as well (you can see the off-set on the scoop on my GLH). May be able to just widen the existing open though, not 100% sure.

I thought of scrapping the Omni and putting the drivetrain in my Daytona, but I really don't want to cut the hood on my Daytona. Plus, the Omni is way too fun, I'll try to get a list of the mods done to it, it suprises a lot of unsuspecting Ford and Chevy guys

Here's my 86 GLHS, #163. 16,400 original miles, and completely UN-restored. It's not perfect, but it was good enough for first place at SDAC-18.

i made a totaly new hood for my omni so i didnt have to cut up the origional.
i tryed to pattern it after the new challenger hood a bit.

i redid my spoiler last night with a charger spoiler which i think is WAY sweeter than the
carbon one i had made for it before.

the DC hood scoop fits dead center over the vent in the hood on a First gen daytona or laser, i should know I have one with it

That looks good!! Did you have to make any mods to the spolier to make it fit? What about access to the key cylinder?

^^ i did sand some off the ends and re-shape the tips a bit to make it sit at the right angle, but otherwise there were no other mods.
i drilled 2 holes in the hatch to accept the wings outer studs, then just put 1 screw in each end.
