found some conversions for the sealed beams. the lenses on these are still glass, but take an H4 bulb. $18 on ebay. im buying some real bulbs for them though the ones that came with them suck. i had to go get pigtails form autozone to wire them up and i also had to cut the hole in the back of the buckets bigger cuz the housing sticks out more in the back. other than that, they fit right in the metal "ring" that holds them to the bucket, and they look cool IMO. im pretty sure i wired them up completely backwards when i first did it, but i think i fixed it. does anyone know on the 3 prong bulbs, which is high beam, low beam, and ground? i know what the wires are in the car, but i have no idea what wire goes to which spade terminal on the lights.

looking at the terminals like this.. | _ | im guessing in order they're ground, high, low please correct me if im wrong.

so far they look good when they're on. they're definately on.. . but when im driving, it feels like im driving with no headlights. my blinkers light up more than they do. maybe being wired wrong, or just crappy bulbs. idk we'll see.

well, here's 2 pictures...

Too bad there isnt anything that mounts flush with the rest of the car. Those look like gaping holes to me :/, too *clear*. Whats the difference at night like?

Your front plate and those foglights are messing with the look IMO. You should try folding the top and bottom of the plate 90 degrees so just the tag number is showing, and then try fitting it in the grill opening. The foglights arent as bad but I think something more rectangular or oval shaped (see my hellas below) would fit in better. Just my opinion though.

You can see how I folded my front plate in this pic...

well i didnt want to change to the newer front end to get flush mount headlights. i like the look of the old sunk in ones.. but the other stuff, i agree 100% i wanted more rectangular lights but i got these when pepboys went out of business for like $15 lol i really want some rectangular ones that are blacked out like the headlights are. and i hate my markers.. i messed em up and now i dont like em. the plate... the cops here are stupid about that stuff... my luck, they'd pull me ofer for it. so to be an ass i put it way up in plain sight hahahahha

I really like the sealed beam headlights on P bodys. the not flush kinda gives it that bug eye effect but matches (IMO anyways) the styling of the cars better than the plastic headlights. not to mention the glass doesnt yellow and haze over
