they came out arrow straight.
you're right thats not a very good paint area, but its all i have. besides just bangin on a few heavy coats of primer, they're gonna get blocked before i spray anyway.
i've sprayed 4 cars in this garage, never really had problems with dust, but bugs have been my scourge every time!
what i do is i go to wally world and buy 3 rolls of 3 mil clear plastic and make a disposable paint booth- cheap and it works really well. but like i said the bugs still manage to get in there. lil bastards like to land right in the middle of the hood no matter what kind of car. every car ive sprayed in there has the tips of the bugs feet stuck in the clear.
as for the trash, when i spray color i take EVERYTHING out of the garage except the compressor, wash and scrub down the floor etc. primer i dont care, its gonna get sanded anyway.

+ 1 on that. i painted my moms buick on a hot august night a few years back, and had this huge hand sized mosquito do the backstroke in the clear. it becomes a conversation piece.
