So I have been debating on whether to keep my mini or pass it on to someone who wants it... Last night I was sorta looking at it and slid underneath to take a look at the frame... Well I have to say it is the cleanest frame I have ever seen on a TD... There really isn't any rust to mention under there - all the floorpans look brand new and the rails are perfect. So I was thinking I might have something to hang on to for at least a little while and do some tweaking with. The exterior/body panels are all sorta dinged and the back hatch is crunched with the standard paint peeling everywhere. BUT I think since the frame is pristine this van is worth fixing up... If it was all rusted out I think I would sell it or scrap it out...

I bought the van from a guy in Port Huron and it has Connecticut stickers on the inside of the windsheild - with a "relentless racing" sticker on the back hatch glass... Curious if anyone knew anything about this van. I have had it for a couple years - but never really paid much attention to it until I sold my VW and now need to drive this beast for a bit...

What do you guys think?

Kinda curious on the engine. Plus who all owned the car before you. Since relentless was a bit TD race group, there may be a few mods already done for you.

Well I do not really remember the guy I bought it from to be honest. Said he got it in some type of deal from someone out east along with some car parts. I will say that it had rubber caked in the wheel wells when I bought it and still has a little still in there. The motor looks to be a stock 2.5 with the Mitsu... it had a lot of vacuum leaks and no exhaust when I bought it...it almost looks like someone raced it - then swapped a stock T2 back into it and sold it... ah well. May remain mystery...

Quick question, is it a purple or dark maroon? The reason I ask is that Gary Donovan had a Turbo-mini. Look at this site under "Old Rides" and he has a caravan in there.
