84-86 Daytona Nose/Fenders onto an 87 up ?

Does anybody know if you can put the front end (nose, fenders, hood) from the older style Daytonas (84-86) onto the newer ones (87+) ?
Yes, yes, I realize anything can be done with enough time and money, but I wondered if it was a fairly simple swap ?
Anybody know, try it, or accomplish it ?

Never seen it done, never heard of it being done. But I am fairly certain that the frame of the Daytona never changed. You may need to get the bumper reinforcement as well.

it changed in 87, and slight changes in 91

psychally i think it can be done however i think you'll have some wiring issues to sort out due to the older 2 lamp design vs the newer flip-up single lamp set up. in all honesty i think this would be easier to do on a 92-93 car
