Powder coat. IMO it's the best way. It's a little more involved, fairly inexpensive and it will hold up 100 times better than rattle canning it.

Dont do it. Save up and just buy some wider aftermarket 17''s! Stockers are only 6'' wide! You need atleast a 7'' width!

i actually ended up sanding the first of the 4 rims and the sanded one came out the worst...did not sand the other 3 and they came out much better..held strong and lookin good for about 2 weeks..

i did not prime the wheels..

it was a flat black..

ill remember to look at the name of the spray paint i used and ill post it..

I painted mine last weekend with Duplicolor wheel paint and they came out pretty good. I just cleaned them really well and scuffed them up with 400 grit paper and started painting.
I did mine gloss black.

yea i used Duplicolor flat black paint!
