Or was this a stock grill on some of them. anyway if you do know what it is would it be swap able with my 88 turbo the one in the pic? thanks very much

if you mean like that, thats the front nose of the 89 daytona, factory.... now, in that pic the nose spoiler is custom or aftermarket, not sure.

That looks alot like it, the junkyard did have it as an 88 but they are not that good at that stuff there. Do you know if i could swap it for mine? if i pulled it from the one there can i put it on mine without any mods?

I want to find that splitter...nice

the 89 and 88 noses are slightly different in the shape and lengths of certain pieces. I have thought about putting an 89 on my 88 because I prefer that look much better but the side moldings are so different and the black strip gooing around the car would have to be removed to make the car look uniform. Also the bumper reinforcements are very diferent and you would need the one from the 89 to make it work.

if you read on that link i posted, it says that that daytona is an 88, but it has an 89 front end. The front end is interchangable, i asked about this before, i wanted to do the front and rear bumper on my 87 z

so how do you know that the car in your link is an 88'? There are no captions or anything to say on the link what year it is except just the 89 nose (all that is pictured). I have two 89's and an 88, the set-up is pretty different and there are quite a few things to change to make it work.
