Well this question is about my non td the 92 Spirit ES with the 3.0 liter V6.. For some reason in Canada airbags wernt standard in 90 and my 92 does not have one.. now Ive updated alot of my interior, Toyota Mr2 seats.. I did it tastefully.. Anyways I want a racing wheel.. Ive searched around on this forrum and it said go with grant.. Now im wondering since my car is a non airbag one but has tilt, can i go with the hub adapter from an 89? anyways these are my questions.. I hope its not annoying its just my birthday is coming up soon and the girlfriend wants to get me something. Thanks guys

if your car is a non airbag car you shouldn't have any problem putting an 89 hub on it. Also, grant makes adapters for *momo* style wheels which are what most aftermarket *non grant* wheels are.. Most of the Grant wheels are either 3 bolt or 5-bolt and the momo stuff is usually 6 bolt. I wish I still had the part numbers but I don't.. I did get the hub and adapter through summit though, but I had to go to the grant site to get the part numbers. Hope that helps..

*NEED*??? no..... BUT, unless you wanna rub your knuckles raw on the dash I would.. It depends which adapter you get from Grant, the basic 3 bolt or the billet 5 bolt(which also acts like a spacer), and the grant to momo adapter is like another 1/2"..

here is are a couple pics of my old setup.. I had a *momo* style 6 bolt steering wheel with the grant billet hub and the grant(5bolt) to momo(6bolt) adapter plate... Just to give you an idea.....

You can find the Grant to Momo adapter on ebay. I found a few seperate auctions with them for sale around $24 US. Grant wheels are cheaper and quality control isn't the greatest but they're nice still. I recently bought the leather Collector's Edition for $123. I also have had the Formula 1 wheel in my Shadow for some time. Momo and Sparco are generally much nicer with better leather and on some wheels suede but they are also quite a bit more expensive. If I could buy any one I wanted I'd get a Nardi. They also have adapters for these to go onto the Grant hub on ebay.
