Thank you!

My order came out to $230 for a Spirit floor carpet with backing ($60 extra) and (4) floor mats. Now hopefully the color and fit are OK.

How is yours?

How close to factory do those look and fit? Mint light grey G-body used carpet is near impossible to come by these days.

Well I'm more concerned with fit than color. There are several shades of grey in my car already...having the floor carpet (mostly covered with mats) slightly off is just not gonna bother me. I think the proper color is called light Quartz...for my car at any rate.

ACC is supposed to be good but I got a pre-molded carpet that was not very pre-molded and had NO cutouts for the shifter and seats like they said it would. No offer od compensation either. Others have better luck with ACC and initial quality.

This is where I had gotten mine from.

All of the aftermarket carpet comes from the same plant in Alabama but there are large number of retail vendors with an even wider number of prices for the same product. Most of which will have to be custom installed.

Here is pics of my install that I did;

They all seem to fit the same way... The rear floor pans are never pressed quite deep enough, and appears everyone who has done this before has this same opinion too. You can amke it look fine but does require some pulling and tugging. Let the whole capet lay in the sun a couple of hours before you start always helps make it more workable. The main thing initially is be sure it aligned perfectly and to do this right you will have to make a large cut up the center console but you don't have to cut all the way to the end as it isn't necessary, just enough to go over the center console. A few “relief” cuts horizontally just narrower than the console itself may allow it conform around the console easier but don’t cut these too much or you will have slices where you don’t want slices. Once aligned front to back, side to side and it is straight, then start making your cut outs slowly for everything else constantly checking to be sure nothing has shifted from moving around on it. Take your time. Take pictures along the way always helps you remember to get everything lined up and returned back the way it supposed to be.
