How to install gauge on a pillar pods

Hello I installed a pillar pod in my daytona and I would like to know what can I do for the lighting. I want to light up the gauge when I light up the parking lights How can I wirring the lighting ? Thanks you

Just wire it to your parking light wires going to your fuse box with the wires that are connected to the guages. You could even be really lazy like me and just stick the wires into the slots with the fuse temporarily. I did that till I get everything done the way I want it.

no.... if I am not mistaken, the parking light fuse cuts out when the main lights are on.... look in the fuse box and find the fuse for the illumination lights.. that is the one that you want to use, it have power andytime there are lights on.. that is what my pillar pods lights are wired into.

i used the illumination wire on my radio for my gauges, i dont remember how but it works when the parking and headlights are on only

This is what I was going to say...they'll work with the dimmer this way as well.

It would be easier to find a set of wires going to a bulb in the dash somewhere...and *solder* to that. But yes, if you find the proper place to solder to you can do that. But honestly I wouldn't want to place that extra load on the message center. Better to find a dash bulb somewhere.
