windows and locks? anybody tried them on a shelby charger? I've spent a lot of time driving my buick roadmaster and i kinda like the convenience of electrical control.

Thanks

I've had electric windows in my '85 SC since, oh 1990 I think. My friend put them in, unfortunately I forget what car the motors are from, I think a Cadillac. With them in I no longer have door speakers. In the pic below you can see, where the ashtray use to be, the switch which is from an Alfa Romeo, my brother in-law worked at an import dealer & got me the switch based on what I wanted/described. The toggle switch next to it is for the rad fan, so I can turn it on whenever I want, & it still works like normal. I got a set of window handle hole covers meant for a Shadow.

Ya, there's both left & right switches in the 1 unit, the rectangle 1 where the ashtray was, there's a small door/window pictograph in the middle.

I got spal universal power window setup in my daytona. It just hooks up to your stock window regulators, so they'll work in any car. My daytona windows get very hard in winter and these lil motors have a lot more torque to them than I gave them credit for. Get em on ebay. So easy to install, very light. I'm gonna put a set in my satellite this summer. Only drawback is you got to put a little cap over the hole in your inner door panel where the old window crank came through. And power lock actuators are super easy to hook up, grab a set out of a daytona at a junkyard and tack the actuator arm onto the lock rod comming from your door handle. A bit of a pita to figure out but cheap and they work.
