P Body center consoles suck!

I have noticed somthing in my sundance, and that is that the center console sucks eggs! I have one single cupholder that if you put a large Taco Bell soda into it, tipps over your soda, because it hits the front of the dash. also there is no armrest, just a stupid chair hight thing with a little tray in it. So what I have done is made a armrest out of some oak I have lying around my house, and put roundovers on every edge, and it looks pretty nice. Next im working on new cupholders or it. I have cut out the cupholder section on the console, and am working on making a wider, slightly farther back cup holder for two cups out of oak. I'm not done with that yet, but I'm working on it! I'll try to put some pictures up as soon as I can. has anyone else done anything similar to this???

I don't know what to tell you.

I love my shadow's center console. I have two cup holders, an arm rest and and other spot to store things. Plus the shadow console is so damn easy to remove.

What sucks for you? You have a lower trim level Pbody. You could try to upgrade. But you are missing the bracket to bolt the arm rest too.

wish I woulda known! oh well! I'm almost done with my cupholder modification and I'm already done with my armrest. I am doing them both outof solid oak, and then am polyurithaneing them. they look very nice so far, but it would have been nice to save some of the hassle!

If you come for the p body parts I give you a factory center console with arm rest and daul cup holders. Next weekend I don't work so it would be good time to come.

Yep the base console sucks, the better console would bolt right in.

I love my center console... has t cup holders a space under the deck to put anyhting and and arm rest with a bubbie inside it to hold anything..
