has anyone costom made a rear bench seat that folds down into a bed type thing? i would like to have one

apparently aerostar seats fopld into beds, maybe i'll fab some brackets!!

If your that desperate just take the seats out. that swhat id did with my 91 grand caravan.

They made a seat that folds into a bed as a factory option. They're pretty rare, but if you post in the wanted section someone might have one or be able to locate one, never know. Search for "convert-a-bed" and check it out.

Yes, there was a factory option for this. As stated above it was called a Convert-a-bed. I used to own one. It was HEAVY!!! Not only that, but you put that in the van, and you loose the ability to have any other rear seat. They are pretty cool though...I used mine several times...worked great!
