head rest stuck?

Has anyone ever gotten the head rest stuck on there car? I have an 87 daytona, and the driver side seat head rest comes off nice and easy, but the passenger side one has a stop or something, and i tryed to get it off, but now its stuck in the furthest up position... anyone know how to get it back down, or off?
