anyone know where to get new buttons for the trip navigational system? none of the ones i took from pick n pull work (about 5 sets) unit works i can take the buttons out and use something metal to work it so i know its the buttons i need to replace. im sure a lot of people have gone through this also so if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated

Is used to live in Merced many years ago and drove my brand new '85 Laser XE Turbo all over those roads there. LOL

Here's the info you need. Don't buy the Dodge replacements as they will fail just as the one's you have did. Will require about an hour and a little soldering...

I don't know if they are online or not. They charge around $6 for shipping so make it worth your while and order a few extra. These switches are used in the radios and digital dashes also.

they have buttons that will work for it? or how would it work and y would u need to solder?

Yes they work... I have repaired about 50 nav units persoally using the switches as I mentioned and have yet to have one fail. The switches are on a PC board and need to be soldered in. This is a very easy fix.

i just called the united radio place for those buttons, and they said they cant send those. i gave them the part number, and the guy came back saying we dont do switches, whatever that means.
