is it possible to put the mechical parts of an enthusaist seat into a regular power seat in my 89 lebaron gtc. i find lots of enthusiast seats at the junkyard but they are all torn to shreads and was wondering if i could take one apart and intall at least the lumbar and seat pad supports, not sure about the airbags for the thighs and such. just a curious question if anyone knows. thanks.

Might be easier to put the outer covering off your seat onto the enthusiast seat.

I have been thinking about it for about a year. The two airbags would be easy enough. You need the bags, switches, and pump. The pump is mounted to the front of the seat. Use side cutters to cut the hog rings. I would get the zippered pouch they are in to protect them. PM me how much you want to ship one set to 63043.
The Chrysler TC seats look like they were almost made for the side bolsters also.

hey while on the subject, anyone have to repair/replace parts on those? the recline option doesn't work and i started taking it apart and so far gears are either jammed or pump is dead. Either case was wondering if anyone else had similar prob. Seats specificly like the 91 ones with controls on the left drivers side
