shifters vary, FWD-P has some.
So far as CAI systems for these car -> No their is not a company that produces them for our cars. Muffler shop can make you on though. you want mandrel bends, and try to get under/next to the battery tray. Also regulat turbo to airbox hose's work
edit: misread oops
\/ contact him for the best shifter you can get. I sold the new fidanza I had when I got his it is sweet!

Get one for a neon. That is if it is a five speed. I use the stock SRT-4 Shifters in the 90+ TD's for a little upgrade. You just have to change the side selector brakcet.

Are you the guy that does the REAL short throw shifters, where you move the axis instead of just changing the shifter length?

Not really wanting a short throw. Just want to be able to change the stock shifter out. Its got like...a clip on each side of the shifter and the actually shifter itsself is round with a square cut out thing to keep the shifter in line. And i was told that they make universal CAI's. So i may go with something like that.
OH! and before i forget. Anywhere i can get an OEM steering wheel? Everytime i take my hand off the wheel...there is black crap all over my hands.

I wish you could just come look at my car to save all this confusion between us. Oooook. Know the carpet shat that is around the center console? Well for some reason...mine wont stay on, and when you look in between the cracks, you can see where the shifter connects to the linkage (i guess thats what it's called) and it seems as tho there is no bushing there either...so there is massive play in the shifter. And yes, i would like a new shifter that is a little shorter, and i would like to change the knob as well....like a screw on one or something like that.

Shifter Bushings: Booger Racing great product
I think I get what your saying now. If you are ever in the market for a real short throw feel and action PM Jackson. It's worth it
I think only B&M Shifters allow a screw on type, the others will be like stock or be held to the shift using a few allen type studs.

you havnt ruined it, im sure. They can take alot of abuse before just giving out(considering everything is in specs and was in good operating conditions before this happened. Do you know how to pull the codes from the self diagnosis system?

And it was is ok working order...the oil return line for the turbo is leaking (need to get that fixed) and the belts were squeeking....thats about all that was wrong before this. Any ideas??!?!

this is easier for me to explain on the phone. but ill try here lol
the key on/off is correct. When you keep it in the on position and the check engine light goes off, that is when the self diagnosis is starting. Say you have a code 23 your lights will blink in pulses - pause - longer pause - pause - pause - so you would count it like this
- - =2
- - - =3
There will be a pause inbetween each blink. If you repeat this over and over again you will see the difference's in the pause's.
Another easy way is to just mark a line each time the light blinks til it is done. The last 10 marks you drew are code 55. From there you should see how the system work's. Just take sometime and repeat the process over and over again.
Im almost always here
