Hi Guys

I wanted to ask your opinions. Is it at all possible to install a child seat anchor in a H body? [lancer/lebaron gts] Members with kids in child seats, how did you manage to secure one in your TD?

thank you
bernard

Is it a rear-facing or forward facing seat???? The infant set I just installed into the wife's car used the seatbelt (or anchors if wanted). Are you still in Ottawa?? If so, contact either the fire dept or police station and they will either help with the install or refer you to people who can (in London, it is held through the ambulatory services).

Dom thanks very much. We haven't bought a car seat yet.. but you brought up a good issue front or rear facing. I'll get in touch with the local EMS and ask. Thanks for that tip!

rear facing is for less than 20lbs or less than a year and less than 20 lbs and front facing is after that..... (we switched to front a little early cause hes a big baby (tall)

most car seats can be strapped in with a normal seat belt (if you pull the retractable ones all the way out and you hear the clicking when it goes back in thats the locking mechanism) and for the adjustable lap belts in the middle of bench seats most(i think most) car seats come with a brass colored I shaped thing it goes over the seat belt near the buckle once you have it tightened to stop the belt from loosening itself

i was just thinking the other day though about finding a way to install those "latch" anchors in my lebaron gtc because with our front facing seat it has an upper attachment point to help stop the top of car seat from moving in an accident but it also helps keep it a little more secure (or maybe im just paranoid)
