Thanks for everything guys. This will help a lot. Now I just need carpet for the dang thing.

Now, what about those, huge, rear side panels in the back. I am converting from a tan interior to a gray interior. How hard would those be to paint and keep looking stock. Also, if I were to take them somewhere, what kind of place should I go?

I am looking for gray interior trim for a J-body (1987-1989) LeBaron coupe hardtop. If you have anything please PM me before throwing it out.

You won't need to take it anywhere. Just clean them up good with simple green and follow that up with Malco Plastic and Vynil cleaner. That stuff does an outstanding job for prepping a plastic surface for paint. Then use a primer, perhaps from this same company. Allow that to dry and then hit it up with a couple thin layers of the dye to build it up nicely. Now jsut a warning, I converted a nice set of the grandma blue sail panels to the Shelby Charger gray, and since I have a cargo cover in the back, it did get knicked a few places from putting that into place. If you have passengers in the back seat, watch for the seatbelts whipping over and hitting the trim as well.

You can do it yourself. Just take your time with it.

Good, thanks guys. I was just going to buy a set from a gray car but they are too big to ship and I don't think I'll have any luck finding a GTC in Utah. Also, good thing nobody will be sitting in the back.

Which SEM Clear Coat, if any, is close to the blues interior found in the interior of Omnis?
The 86 models with blue interiors - light blue door panel tops and and various darker blue interior parts - like the console. Does SEM offer anything close to these colors? I've gone through a SEM catalog with a salesman at a paint store and we couldn't find anything close to these blues. We looked up
Chrysler interior colors and found nothing close.

I did a color match for the dark blue tin dash piece on the L bodies, and I got a Dupont paint which is probably dead on.
