I have a '89 Lebaron. Anyone know of a way to restore the fake woodgrain door side panels and center console? I've been looking for adhesive vinyl in the same pattern with no luck.

check a vinyl shop, believe it or not a lot of them can get the woodgrain vinyl
it may not be exactly the same as the original but it will work. our vinyl shop carries it so check around you locally

Weigh less? How much does a few ounces of vinyl weigh vs paint?

I found a real nice woodgrain set about two months ago. Of course, I was going to the JY about every other day trying to get the parts to put my Daytona back together. It can be done.

I ended up mail ordering a roll of burlwood vinyl and started re-covering the side panels. They came out pretty good and the pattern matched exactly.
