Has anybody used Automotive Insulation heat barrier and noise reduction for cars, trucks, classic cars, street rods and much more

Much cheaper than dynamat and available in larger quantity

between replacing the weatherstrip around all the doors and hatch and before I put the interior back together would like to try to reduce the amount of noise that still makes it through the carpet.

And yes I have read all the horror stories about rusted out floor pans and what causes them. two layers of this stuff IMO would be vastly superior to all that sponge like garbage that is currently on the carpet

Sure Have. I refinished another car that I own a few years ago, and laid this material down covering the entire floorpan from the firewall back to the rear seat framework underneath the cars original carpeting. It does work. The car is quieter, cut the road noise coming off the wheelwells, and softened the exhaust note.
