not sure what else to call it but the motor gear is fine on the driver's side. But the white plastic (?) thing that the gear moves, that is attached to the window and run on the metal T guide is completely gone less a small 1" section of it sitting on in the door sill. No idea how that came to be, just more importantly, how the hell do i replace that?

The part # is 4467214, list price is $24.00.
It comes with an instruction sheet.

make sure you add lots of grease. I put wheel bearing grease all over the track, the window goes up and down amazingly fast now. Not too bad to replace. I happened to have one lying around I found in a J-yard that was brand new when mine broke. Had to trim a bit off the end but that was cake walk.

These plastic "trolley" things are REALLY easy to replace. Just unbolt the old one and break off whatever is left, or slide it out past the window scraper. To install the new one, its even easier! Guide it onto the track at the window scraper, push it down by hand until it reaches the power window motor, and operate the motor to pull it through the rest of the way, being careful that it doesn't bind anywhere. It takes more time to remove and reinstall the door panel than it does to install this plastic thing..

As far as what kind of grease to use, it has to be a type that, over time, it doesn't "dry up" and leave a really sticky residue behind. 6 months later and its back to square one for slowness. I just wish I remembered what I used on my '91 Daytona. Those windows work awesome years later. I'm thinking of trying a bunch of powdered graphite and NO grease at all. Or grease on the gear side and nothing but graphite on the back side.

So, I refuse to pay dealership price for the window regulator on my driver side. Anyone have the OEM number or even know a site I can get it from? Thanks,
RC
