^^^ best thing to do. Pull the carpet, pressure spray the crap out of it and scrub the crap out of it using some kind of mild detergent, and finish it off with liquid tide. Hang it on the clothes line a few days to dry out, and re-install into the car. During the drying process, it spray it with a bunch of compressed air to hasten the drying process and to help keep it fluffy.
As for the seats, i have excellent results removing the fabric from the seats all together and throw it in the wash machine. Its quite tedious and takes a nack to R&R the fabric, but the results are phenomenal.
Careful, the dryer will tend to melt any vinyl areas. Use low heat only!
