I had been driving a 1993 civic ex for 4 years. IT was totaled, and I got to thinking. WHy doesnt my Horizon have a trunk release? I hate using the key. When the weather warms up, I am going to mount the civic mechanism and cable to the horizon. I will keep current with updates, in case anyone else would like to try.

electric release was an option, at least on the Chargers (standard on SCs I think)

I'm sure the 2-door part would work on the 4 door... I have one in my garage
