I have an optioned out 1989 Dodge Shadow ES. I have the power seat, power windows, power locks.

Before this I had a 1989 2.5 TBI base model Acclaim (crank windows and all), so lately I have been having fun just playing with my power windows.

There is something weird though. The buttons to unlock the doors and roll the windows to me are backwards. To roll the windows up you press the the button closest to the rear of the car. To roll them down, you press the one closest to the front. Same thing with the locks, to unlock press the button closest to the rear of the car. To lock, press the one closest to the front.

Now is it just me? I have never had power windows or doors, are they all like this? Its not a big deal, but sometimes it frustrating getting out of my car and remebering how to lock everything, its more comicl than anything.

If you really want to reverse this its not that hard just pop off both door panels and swap the two wires on all the window motors and lock solinoids. Most connectors only let you plug it up one way but you should be able to get the wires out of the connector and swap them.
