upper dash panel

how do you remove the metal panel(where the defroster vents are)is it in w/spring clips ? car is a daytona thanx all!

on my Spirit if your talking about right up by the windshield then it just pulls/pops out

It does just pop up but they are some tight little clips!. Due to it being in the sun for the last 20 years or so the plastic is very brittle, so go at it slow. It is not abnormal for the plastic to break and the clip stay in the dash part. I then just popped the clips up out and broke out some JB weld for the rescue. Good luck.
