I couldn't wait to put the original door panels in storage. Nothing says cheap 80's dodge like the original omni door panels...good ridence, may you rest in storage.

Check out the new door panels at:

Thanks Marcus, a compliment coming from you means something!

You know what will probably happen, I've spent all this money getting it ready for the track and I'll probably never get to a track...but..I'm planning on the last event Trackdaze has at SummitPoint in October.

How's #126?

Mike

"......... and I'll probably never get to a track..."

you will, the bug will bite you hard enuf at some point. thats gonna be a 12 second car for sure. based on what you have done i bet you are planning some SCCA-type racing also yes? on the door panels: where did you get the idea? did you fab them yourself?

126 = fine, i've driven it twice this year thats one more than all of 2007. the original wheels are headed out tomorrow for restoration.

You sending them to the company that restored your first set? I need to have mine done, they are off the car and in storage now. let me know how they turn out, I was going to send mine to a place in PA but I'll wait to hear from you.

Glad to see #126 getting some sun. I've noticed you've updated your cardomain page. keep up the good work.

Mike

Mike i sent the wheels to Wheel Collision:

Wheel Collision Center Bath Allentown Pennsylvania PA - Factory OEM Aluminum Alloy Rims Wheel Sales & Factory and Aftermarket Custom Aluminum Alloy Wheel Repair Experts Wheel Collision Center Bath Allentown Pennsylvania PA - Factory OEM Aluminum Allo

before they began they warned me about the potential for base metal pitting after the skim cut, thier words were exactly same as Carl out at Long Island Wheel told me, as have others.

got the wheels back and each one does have pitting, but overall the wheels look outstanding, much better than before and dead on correctly finished, not too shiny, in between the spokes is perfect.

cost was $550 with return shipping, turn around was 5 days after they got the wheels.

That's where I was going to send mine. They actually bought a set of rims off of me, good people. Glad to hear the finish was correct, a lot of people get that wrong...and the turnaound, that's great service.
