hi, i am currently restoring/modding a 1992 Daytona and have run into some problems. for starters, i cannot figure out how to remove the rear seat assembaly thing. the other thing is on the driver's side door panel, the handle that you use to close the door is broken and to clarify, here is a pic...

i am pretty sure that it is plastic but other than that, it has ripped and i need a new one.

LAST THING... i need replacement speaker covers.. if anyone can help me out on any of these, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Pete

The rear seats should come out with 2 bolts that are behind the seats in the crevice right in front of the hatch area. (Between the seat backs and the higher floored hatch area)

It's a pita to get at them though, I just took out 2 sets of rear seats from a '91 and '90 and I'm almost positive that they are the same as your '92.

Once you find something to get at them with, remove them (they are pretty long and will be in damn tight), and then slide the seats forward and out.

There is a lip under the front part of the seats that slides in and holds the front of them down.

the drivers door handle I think is broke in all the 92-93 daytonas. Both of mine have minor tears. Good luck finding a good one I have been looking on and off for a few years with only finding a few and they all sold for more then I thought they were worth.
