The headliner is around my ears. I'm disassembling to replace the headliner and I can't figure out how to get the overhead console off. I can't find any screws and I think it might be a snap-in or slide-in installation. However, if I'm wrong then I'll probably break it. Anyone know the procedure?

Hey. I'm not to sure what it looks like but it's more then likely screwed to a bracket in the ceiling. Try looking HARD. That's not something you wanna break. Try removing like little storage things if there are any. If there are, thats where the screws would be. Hope this helps some.

I solved it. The overhead console is on a slide mechanism. You have to pull/push it to the back a few inches and then swing it down.

yup, one I just installed in the shadow uses a slide hook and screw to hold it in place.
