im looking for a hoop that will fit in the the p-body. i have a bender but its the bottle jack type so it'd be easier to buy a hoop that will be close then just have to bend the other pipes myself. i think it'd be pretty hard to keep it square using this bender. i looked up on jegs and they have hoops for the daytona, laser, and neon. will one of these work? which one?

i also noticed a fox body hoop looks close but i never measured it.

any opinions on hoops?

thanks,
nick

I assume you have a convertible?

I have been thinking about that too. I have a few sites bookmarked with mustang hoops, and an thinking about the bar on a PT convertible, but not sure if anything already out there has the perfect width.

its not a convert. i found one that fits like a glove! its for an AMC hornet. i'd like to buy that full bolt in cage but this will be a lot cheaper. the hoop was $40 and im buying some straignt pipe for the rest and just bend it up and weld it together. but being my first cage, if i screw it up too much, i'll keep that full cage in mind haha thanks

I dunno... they had more than one thing on that page, the full cage was at the top...

... and where can you get a roll-bar for $40?? I'm interested in that.

Sure, That would be great. I'm interested in something like that for my Charger.

The older I get, the less fearless I become...lol I'm gonna want something to keep my roof off my head in a roll-over

or you could've called art morrison and got my specs from them. I'm sure they still have them. I've got a nhra 10 point cage in my car that retains the interior.
