Put that money to use on something that you actually need, not seats for a car that you can't drive.

Lol I can drive my car lmao....
The blue baron is toast for the moment so its more motivation to get the other cars running.
I just redid the timing on the red laser so now I just have to put the belts back on, air box together, battery, fuel, and fire her up.
The other car, I think I am going to need a fuel pump so I will get it on the lift one weekend for that!

I agree with you that the brown my knock the price down, but i know i love that color. Personally my favorite color combo is a 84 Daytona Turbo that is Saddle Brown, with a black bottom that says TURBO, and with the Saddle Brown interior. I'll would give my first born for one of those.

Sorry it took so long for a response to this thread...went on a motorcycle ride today....got SOAKED! Oh well....part of being a motorcyclist.

Anyways....To answer a few questions:

The seats ride AWSOME! They are more comfortable than the origional power enthusiats seats that were in the car, not to metnion they are easier to get in and out of! They also support you better in the turns, and being how I mounted them, they ended up about an inch lower than the stock seats, so I not only have a little more head room, but I'm closer to the car's center of gravity and I can *feel* the car a LOT better now! Added bonus? They are also lighter than the stock seats!

I mounted them to stock manual g-body tracks. I used thick walled 1" square aluminum straight stock to adapt them to the tracks. I used grade 5 bolts. It took a bit of work to get them to adapt propperly, but only basic tools for the most part. The driver's side one I even did with only my Dremel, a drill, and a sawzall!!

I aquired them through the power of e-bay! LOL There are a few that know how much I paid for them, but let's just say I got a REALLY good deal considering what aftermarket seats of the same caliber go for and also compared to what most of the other Viper seats sell for. They DID come from a wrecker though, ironically enough! I WILL say that they aren't perfect by any means. However, given the age of my car, and the overall condition of its interior, they are in pretty darn good shape, and serve their purpose very well for me.

Thanks for the props on the boost gage(non subject related). If people have noticed it in the past, nobody's said anything. I've even posted pictures of just that here and nothing! However, that's kinda how I like it. So subtle that if somebody does take notice they kinda shrug it off....but it's COMPLETELY functional!

The pictures were taken at night with a flash. They are NOT "baby shit orange" LOL! They are a darker tan, more of a bright saddle color. I know that color is not very popular anymore, so yes, it does detract from their market value for MOST of the populous, but it worked out in my favor! I LIKE being different! :P The rest of the interior is also tan, but it is faded from the sun. True, it was NEVER that color, but with propper use of accenting, it'll look fine IMHO.

The viper seats look bad ass. If only they were in black, but so what.

Nice score!
