Well, the car does have power locks, mirrors, and windows. It HAD the full power enthusiast seat. I *could* have adapted the new seats to that track, but I opted to go manual in favor of lightness and simplicity. I saved on the order of 30#'s or so going that route. I *may* replace the center console switch manel with one that is correctly optioned, but for now I'm just leaving it alone.
Honestly I don't mind the manual seat..less things to worry about going wrong!
One thing we all have laughed about with the Viper seats is the LACK of power options! They are manual tilt and slide. They also use a simple pump-ball and release valve that looks like it came off of a blood pressure cuff for the lumbar! LOL No lie, it's comparable to what is in my '84 Laser! LOL However, I can say that it DOES work, is very simple, and is effective...so it gets points for that!
