Just took a look at these and the pics do not do them justice! They are very nice and feel great, I like how the driver side sits a bit lower. Very nice addition Chris!

I agree with you 100%. The one thing I like is how easy it is to get in and out of the driver seat.

Well, the car does have power locks, mirrors, and windows. It HAD the full power enthusiast seat. I *could* have adapted the new seats to that track, but I opted to go manual in favor of lightness and simplicity. I saved on the order of 30#'s or so going that route. I *may* replace the center console switch manel with one that is correctly optioned, but for now I'm just leaving it alone.

Honestly I don't mind the manual seat..less things to worry about going wrong!

One thing we all have laughed about with the Viper seats is the LACK of power options! They are manual tilt and slide. They also use a simple pump-ball and release valve that looks like it came off of a blood pressure cuff for the lumbar! LOL No lie, it's comparable to what is in my '84 Laser! LOL However, I can say that it DOES work, is very simple, and is effective...so it gets points for that!

why viper seats?? you can call kirkey or ultra shield, have CUSTOM seats made to fit you, better bolster and fitment, and only weigh 13 pounds each. But sweet, youve got viper seats...

I didn't want to go full racing seats as I've got experience with those in another one of my cars. They do work and they do support, but eh....not for a daily driver.

I HAD my eye on some very nice Recaro's an aquaintaince has that would look very much in place in my car. They are the OLD style, boxy ones from the 80's and have "RECARO" strobed down the center of them. I attempted to buy them off of him for a LOT more than what he paid for them, but he was dragging @ss, so I was looking for other options.

A friend of mine mentioned he REALLY liked the seat they had in the basement of the Chrysler museum in front of the computer...it jsut so happened to be a Viper seat turned in to a desk chair. So, my search commenced!

Honestly, because I found them for the price I did, and the *cool* factor you mentioned...that's why I have Viper seats.
