Airtemp sensor


connection for the airtemp sensor behind the battery. not factory but I did the wiring in modular sections for ease of installation and repair-replacement if ever necessary. (hopefully never)



connection behind the center stack cubby hole. wiring to the left is spliced into the appropriate wires to control everything. wires going to the right & down is the actual wiring harness for the OHC's. since I didnt run the wiring as it was routed from the factory (however that was ?) ended up with about 3.5 extra feet, coiled up and secured behind the glovebox

I have a factory installed one on my 92 R/T. I works most of the time, but gives an odd number (like -71 deg). I think it is a rare feature.....

I'm going to be doing one up soon. My car has all the factory wiring in place, just have to find the time to hook it all up. The P-body specific ones are extremely hard to come by.

My son has one in his 92 Shadow ES..(mine does not)..it's an original option with the car along with the ambient temp gauge feature...gets a few looks when people look into the car and ask......what the *hell* is that?.

I like mine. the maplights and sunglass holder section have proven to be very usefull.

I have never been able to get sunglasses to fit! I ordered a 93 iroc (v6) back in 1992 and my choice was a sunroof or overhead console....I picked the sunroof but thought the overhead was standard in the iroc and iroc r/t models.
