I have a non working boost gauge thing like I did I can send you. the boost gauge is mostly unhooked, the wiring harness for the boost gauge lights are chopped for the aftermarket boost guage I put in, and all the lights work forthe doors, low fuel light etc.
Then all you have to do it fab a backing plate to cover the rest of the plastic so you dont have to get rid of the traveler.
Just an idea

the pic that I posted, you can have that boost gauge thing less the aftermarket boost gauge.

oh. that answers that. Thanks.

the message center wouldn't work in the car, as i have the digital talking one in my lebaron. And i'd rather not replace it, as that thing is REALLY helpful.

How I did it, rare_ram's 1982 Dodge Rampage on CarDomain - Page 14
Here's my installation. I wanted it on the right side of the radio as it is partially blocked by the steering wheel if I mount it on the left side. I have it mounted, but not hooked up yet. I had to shim it with 5 washers on each side to make it fit flush with the bezel - I did not glue it to the bezel, but mounted it to the dash. It's a tight fit as the air ducting is right behind it, but there is clearance enough I think. As I am new to this, where do I plug into the vacuum lines to hook it up?

I didn't want to give away what I've got going on with my van so I grabbed a novelty cup, cut the holes, mounted the guages. Now it should look like I'm just thirsty when I pull up alongside someone. Cheap and just put a hole in the bottom of the cup holder to run the lines and wires. Picture068.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
